What Would You Do

Factorie crop top (similar here) || Cue skirt (similar here) || Nordstrom booties (others here) || Colette handbag

Since it's currently Sunday, I decided to do a post on one of my typical outfits I wear on the weekend! And that's a simple all black and white outfit, that consists of a crop top, high-waisted skirt and this brand new handbag my sister bought as a gift for me. I'm obsessed with this pair of lace-up booties - not only are they super cute and have the perfect daytime heel height, they are incredibly comfortable. If you guys have any questions you'd like me to answer, feel free to drop a comment - I read every single one. And thank you so much to everyone that has already done so, I'm still so surprised to be getting feedback at such an early stage of this blog :)

Monster Threads jumper (more here) || Blackmilk leggings || Glassons parka (similar here) || Glassons sunglasses (more here) || Dr Martens boots

The weather is definitely getting a little better down here in Sydney, but it's still quite nippy. And so I put together this incredibly casual, comfy, but still warm outfit! Monster Threads have some of the coolest hipster style prints on their jumpers - if I had more money to splurge, I'd definitely invest in more of them! And same goes for blackmilk - they literally have almost any design you can think of on a pair of leggings, and they're such, such good quality!

Moving to New York

Cotton On top (similar here) || Sportsgirl skirt (similar here) || Redoute jacket || TUK creepers

I had an audition for a film project this afternoon, followed by ambling the streets of Newtown with my friend, Karina, so I opted for one of my staple outfits. I've had this skirt for years now, and although it's a little loose, it's the skirt I wear the most. I'm always up for a bit of a preppy look, which is exactly what this skirt adds whenever I chuck it on, and today was no exception. I always love combining it with a band top, my leather jacket and my creepers! Tomorrow, I'm heading into the city again to meet up with a few friends, which should be fun!

Why Do I Keep Counting?

Choies leather pants (similar here) | Dr Martens boots

Unlike the rest of the world that are currently in the middle of summer, down here in Aus, it's been pretty nippy. So here's one of my staple outfits I've been wearing the last few months - a jumper over skinny pants, with a thick coat thrown over the top and my dr martens. These boots are seriously my babies (as I'm sure they are for many people). I pretty much wear them almost every single day, and I can trust that they'll somehow match any outfit I decide to wear. The other day I even wore a maxi dress, which I usually would pair with a nice pair of sandals, but decided to chuck these on instead, and they still worked!

I'm quite busy in the next few weeks, working on a couple of film projects and a few auditions scheduled in, so that's quite exciting! Hope you're all well!

Neon Lights

Forever 21 blazer (similar here) | Nordstrom boots

I found this top randomly in a large garbage bag hidden in the garage, and immediately snatched it. It turns out it actually belonged to my mum and is a pyjama top (with matching pyjama pants). As soon as I found out, it absolutely made sense, and it truly does look like something you'd wear to sleep on a summer's night. But I thought, challenge accepted! I'm going to wear this pyjama top out in public! I mean, I liked it before I knew what it was designed for, because of the delicate floral print - very grandma haha. I pretty much always pair crop tops (I decided that was it's use for today) with high-waisted skirts or shorts, like this simple one I stole from sister's wardrobe. I love black mini skirts, you can wear them with almost anything, at any time of the year (just chuck on a pair of tights underneath when the temperature is a bit nippy).

Anyway, I should really be opening this post with a big "HELLO!" This is my first outfit I'm posting, first of many I hope, and I'm so excited to see where I'll take this blog. Today I headed over to Bondi with my sister in the afternoon for a little drive and stopover at Messina. If anyone who stumbles across my blog is from Sydney, please please please tell me you've tried the deliciousness that is Messina gelato! It's truly changed my life haha.
