Topgirl dress (other casual black dresses here) | TUK creepers

Today is my last free day I have before I leave for my overseas trip! Even though the flight isn't until next Tuesday, I'm heading up the coast all this week, then working over the weekend, before Kiara gets down here from Brisbane. And then...we're off! And so, naturally, this day was spent being lazy at home watching old Prisonbreak episodes. Normally, I wouldn't even get dressed out of my pyjamas, but I wanted to try on my brand new creepers that finally arrived! I've had a pair in the past, but the sole broke off, and it's taken me like 6 months to replace them haha. And so, I came up with this super duper simple outfit - a thick white jumper over a simple black dress. I actually really love this dress, but I didn't take any full pictures of it, which gives me a good excuse to wear it again in a future post :P

Helter Skelter

Cotton On tee (other tees here) | Forever 21 denim shirt (similar here) | Sportsgirl tuxedo pants

There's not too much to say about today's look since it's literally my go-to outfit at this time of year. The tuxedo pants and beanie keep me warm, but the denim shirt keeps it all light and not too overwhelmingly bulky. I'm actually yet to invest in a good denim jacket, but now that winter is over, it's not at the top of my priorities list haha. Anyway, this is just another one of my favourite classic combos. Let me know in the comments what other type of posts you'd like to see from me other than outfits :)

With A Little Help From My Friends

Forever 21 blazer (similar here) | Chica Booti velvet skirt (similar here) | Nordstrom booties | Colette handbag

You guys would've already seen me play with this colour palette before, but it's seriously one of my favourites and go-tos when I can't think of what to wear. I absolutely love combining camel with black and white - it's just so classic. Despite this being a super simple look, it has a nice formal element for when you want to be a little more dressy. I just went for afternoon tea with my mumma to a nice cafe, but you could wear this to a meeting if you wanted. Along with colours, I played a little with textures today, opting for this velvet skirt over my usual choice of a plain black one. As it gets warmer, you'll notice my outfit posts will slowly start to incorporate more skirts, shorts and singlets, and less tights and coats.

I'm not sure if I'm mentioned this in a previous post, but I'm heading on an overseas trip in a couple of weeks for almost two months, and so I haven't been able to go shopping in a really, really long time. So this is just a little warning that most of my upcoming posts will be combinations of all my old clothes, and you may see me reusing some of my favourite items (like this camel blazer and booties haha). Anyway, I'd love to hear what you guys would wear to a coffee date with your mum! :)

Glassons dress (other blue dresses here) | Paddington Coats coat (similar here) | Nordstrom booties (other shoes here)

The weather today was so so soooo nice, and so what better way to celebrate than slipping on a nice, simple, casual dress! It is still only the very start of spring, so I chucked on this black coat over the top in case it got a bit breezy in the evening (I was right). Warmer weather means I can trade my staple Dr Marten boots for my other lighter options, like this other pair I have from Nordstrom. I've spoken about these babies in a previous post - they have the perfect heel height, and are so super duper comfortable, I just love wearing them! I have quite a bit of spare time this week, so hopefully I'll be able to take more outfit pictures :)

I Can't Tell You Why

Urban Outfitters dress (similar here) || Forever New clutch (others here) || Nordstrom booties

Here I am, dressed head to toe in all black, but what's new? I decided I wanted to a bit of a more dressy look today, and so I opted for this dress I bought in the states almost two years ago. It actually looks like a skirt and top, particularly when I chuck this belt over the top, and I kind of love that it does that haha. Whenever I'm heading out, I pretty much always use a clutch over any other type of bag, and so that's why I chose this one to show you guys today. I love how simple it is, and the gold accents of course work well with any all black outfit. It's freshly spring here, and that means I'll be heading out at nighttime a lot more often (I hate carrying all those extra layers in winter, and then having to either hold on to them, or pay for space in a cloak room), and this is so typical of something I'll be wearing. I hope you guys like this outfit, let me know in the comments :)

Right Now

Chica Booti crop top (similar here) || Redoute cardigan (similar here) || Typo backpack (other bags here) || Nordstrom booties || Lovisa necklace (other necklaces here)

It's finally spring down here in Australia! YESSS!! You guys have no idea how much I've looked forward to winter being over, and so to celebrate the beautiful weather, I chucked one of my favourite, light outfits - crop top, denim shorts and booties! It was honestly such a perfect day, so my friend and I decided to have a picnic in our local park, followed by a nice walk on the nearby beach overlooking Sydney airport. I ordered these boots online a few months ago, and I've been wearing them a lot. I like how classic and simple they are, with the perfect amount of heel for me. I'll try to take better close-ups of them in some future posts! I bought these sunglasses not too long ago because they were in the sales bin at Chica Booti, and I had been looking for holographic sunnies for a while. Honestly, I'm after a slightly different style, like a pair my friend, Karina, has, with a thin gold framing, but these were only $5, so it was worth it to me :P
