Until The Night Turns

Cue dress (similar here) | Esprit bag (similar here) | Nordstrom shoes (similar here)

I spent the day with my entire family today, before we all head back to full-time work this coming week. I wanted to wear something simple but classy, and so I reached for this beautiful black dress I bought from Cue a few years back. I only wear it every couple of months, simply because I love it that much and like to save it for nice occasions like today. To make it a little more casual, I paired it with this simple black shoulder bag, and my lace-up ankle boots. (PS: please ignore the obvious stain, I will get it off somehow haha).

Cotton On beanie | Choies pants | T.U.K. creepers | Sportsgirl backpack (similar here)

I'm absolutely obsessed with these creepers, and my favourite way to wear them is with a pair of leather pants and an oversized top - it really gives that edgy vibe I love. I also like them because they're unisex, and I'm obsessed with any type of piece that adds an element of androgyny to my look. This backpack is from Sportsgirl - I love it's aztec pattern, as well as how spacious and incredibly light it is. It's perfect to add to outfits that lack any pattern, like this one!

Topshop top (similar here) | Jay Jays jeans | Converse shoes

This is my go-to look for casual days running errands and going shopping. I just need to be comfy when I'm doing all these little tasks, which to me, includes wearing very few pieces. Nothing beats a pair of boyfriend jeans with a simple, but classic top tucked in. I love this style of button-up sleeveless - I have it in white and obviously this salmon shade, but I want to build up my collection. Any colour would work well with jeans like these! What do you guys wear to the shops? I love seeing your ideas :)

Fire and the Flood

Ralph Lauren sweater (similar here) | Chica Booti skirt (similar here) | Maty earrings (similar here) | Glassons bag (similar here) | Nordstrom shoes

All I was doing today was heading to the shops, so I decided to keep my outfit simple yet still stylish. With autumn around the corner, I'm prepping myself with pieces like this thick white jumper - it's my go-to when the weather starts to get a bit chilly, as it's so chunky and warm, but doesn't actually look it. One of my favourite ways to wear it is tucked into a high-waisted skirt, like this faux leather one. Have a great week everyone :)

Treat Her Better

Cotton On T-shirt | Sportsgirl shorts (similar here) | Valleygirl cardigan (similar here) | Princess Polly belt | Nordstrom shoes

All black and grey is one of my favourite colour palettes and with autumn coming up so soon, I feel like it's appropriate to start wearing darker pieces. I absolutely love pairing any type of tee, particularly plain ones, with leather shorts or skirts - the combo literally works all the time. I've worn these shorts in previous posts, because they are just incredible. Leather shorts in general are such a good staple piece, and they work at any time of the year.

Hula Hoop

Just Jeans top | Redoute cardigan (similar here) | Zara leggings (similar here)

I went back to a simple monochromatic look today, as all I was doing was having afternoon tea with my grandparents. I absolutely love the fit of this cardigan - it's loose and so super cozy because of the cotton material. This simple singlet is also a long-time favourite - it fits just right and I find it quite flatters the figure. I paired them with my trusty slim leggings, which also, are incredibly comfortable.
