She Only Loves Me When I'm There

H&M coat (similar here) | Choies leggings | Converse sneakers

I find brown coats generally easy to pair, but when you find the perfect one with an amazing shape, it practically works with everything. I bought this one at H&M about a month ago. At first, I did hesitate as they only had an extremely large size left and I was scared it would drown me, but when I tried it on, it actually fit really well! It's still large, but in a way I quite liked, so I immediately decided to buy it. Surprisingly, H&M have some really nice coat options for this upcoming winter - they have some timeless pieces, all for very affordable prices (as you would expect). The trench shape of this coat is so freaking nice, I can see myself wearing it most days.

Anyway, this particular look is super casual, perfect for days when you don't have anything planned, just catching up with pals or running errands. The coat obviously looks incredible with slim bottoms, so I paired it with these really comfortable leggings, my converse and my fave band tee.

What do you all think?

This Must be the Place

Cotton On jeans | Vince Camuto sandals | Redoute jumper (similar here)

This is one of my most simple, yet favourite looks for super casual days when I don't have much going on. All I did today was work in the morning, and then go for some afternoon tea with my sister, so I chucked on my most worn black tee, and paired it with these new jeans I bought from Cotton On. I've been wanting to replace my Jay Jays boyfriend jeans for a while, but I've been quite tight for money the last few weeks, so I decided to buy a pair that weren't expensive, but still looked really cool! Even though the weather down here is still super nice, it does tend to get a bit nippy, so I always bring a cardigan or jumper with me to throw on when I need (like this white one I wear so much). What do you guys think of my new jeans?

Life Itself

Topshop White Lace Dress (similar here) | Redoute Leather Jacket (similar here) | Vince Camuto Heels

I went with a little lace dress today, which you can probably tell was just a tad too small on me, but I love it too much to not wear it. It's so beautifully crafted, and I love it by itself, or with any black outerwear. I was planning on wearing it with a black blazer, but instead went for my typical biker jacket, because you know I love adding a little edge to an outfit. I think the cutest part are the buttons at the collar - they just add an extra pretty touch. I could see myself wearing this dress for any event or celebration - I might do so for one of the birthday dinners coming up. I went with loose hair and nude lips for a soft look, but this could totally work with red lips and a messy up-do as well!

Ride With Me

Sportsgirl jumper (similar here) | Choies leggings | Redoute jacket (similar here) | Nordstrom shoes

I love light coloured jumpers, even more when I pair them with tougher pieces like my leather jacket. I've already spoken about this jacket numerous times in the past, but I'm gonna say it again - it's just perfect. I love the biker fit and the smooth fabric. I got it cheap, so obviously it's not real leather, and you can particularly tell with the wearing on the sleeves. I'm so upset, but it really shows how many times I've worn this piece, and I've come to accept that it's time to replace it with a fresh piece. So now begins the process of finding one that lives up to this one's standards haha, but don't worry, it'll definitely be real this time!

I think I've mentioned that a lot of my post titles are actually songs that I'm listening to at the moment. Surprisingly, at the moment, I'm loving my old school tunes, particularly Nelly. "Ridin Wit Me" has been stuck in my head for the past week and it doesn't look like it's going away any time soon!

Change of Heart

H&M jacket (similar here) | Cotton On tee (similar here) | Nordstrom boots

As you can tell from the last photo, it was bucketing down today, which is a relatively nice change from the constantly hot weather we've been experiencing here in Sydney. I've had this jacket for a few years now, but I find it hard to wear a lot of the time. I find pairing colourful aztec prints quite difficult, especially this one which has leather as well. So, of course, I just went for one of my go-to looks - a t-shirt dress and my most worn boots. Because it was raining, I was wearing a beanie throughout the day, but when we actually took these photos it had settled down a bit, so I ended up taking it off. T-shirt dresses are such classics - they basically work well with anything, and so I really had no choice but to wear one today with this jacket. What do you guys think of t-shirt dresses? Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!
